The design stage begins when concepts have been approved and subjected to rigorous validation testing. Teams from each department work together to determine how each element of the project will be executed, from visuals to feel to technical configuration.
The initial concepts are then brought to life through visual renderings (overall concept), system suggestions, equipment configurations and interactive prototypes (detailed concept). The aim of these tests is to articulate, develop and refine the core story experience across a range of emotions.
The overall art direction is fundamental at this stage. That's why we start defining it through our range of multimedia tools: scripting, storyboarding, 3D visualisation, lighting plans, shooting action videos, creating templates and architectural models, to name but a few.
Technical drawings are produced and a list of equipment is developed to present turnkey projects, including a detailed preliminary budget.
