The problem

The set builders, game developers and integrators able to deliver a leisure venue are few, and they are not found through a search engine. The ones that rank first are rarely the ones working in this sector.

The second difficulty is costlier: even having found three makers, their quotes cannot be compared. Different scopes, different assumptions, items one includes and another discovers mid-build.

What the step covers

• The tender specification, package by package, on an identical scope for every contractor approached.
• Selection of the contractors to approach, by venue type, finish level and your geography.
• Running the tender: follow-ups, technical questions, site visits.
• Comparative analysis of the bids, line by line, with the differences explained and what each one is missing.
• A written, argued recommendation.

Our position

We take no commission from the contractors consulted and hold no interest in their companies. That is the condition for bid analysis to be worth anything.

How it differs from client-side project management

This step stops at contract award. Client-side project management takes over from there and runs to handover: site meetings, trade-offs, budget tracking and variations.

Many project owners only need the first.
