The problem

A leisure fit-out brings together trades that do not usually work together: set builders, developers, electricians, AV integrators, joiners. Each is right within their own package, and nobody holds the overall view.

Without an arbiter, the last one on site decides, because they are the one standing in front of the wall. Decisions made that way are rarely the project's.

What the engagement covers

• Scheduled visits, at milestones agreed in advance.
• Photographic reports circulated to every contractor.
• Technical trade-offs during the build, held against the design.
• Coordination of deliveries and of successive interventions.
• Package sign-off and snagging follow-up through to clearance.

One point of method

We do not take on works direction in the regulatory sense. We defend the design: when a site trade-off amounts to removing what gave the venue its value, we say so, with the costed alternative.
